What is water but life without which we die
For me it is more than just a source to survive
In the darkest of days and the most stormy of nights
As the drops fall from the sky they fall from my eyes
The oceans and rivers have breathed me new life
The rhythm of the waves the heartbeat of the earth
How can we destroy such a precious resource
My prayer is that we learn the importance of nature
of ocean
of life
of creation
of one another
As we look and we learn and we trust and we grow
We must come together to care for the earth
For its beauty, its oceans, its rivers and seas
Have done more than just save you and me. Ω
