Fido and Felix, you were created by God,
and you are loved by God.
May you and your humans care for each other,
learn from each other,
experience joy and companionship together,
and be a witness to shalom in this world.

No sermon today. Instead, as creatures ourselves made in the image of God, we introduced our domestic animals to each other (yes, over Zoom), saw that they were good, and blessed them with this blessing. If you have pets at home, perhaps you might like to bless them, too!
